Moby's New Year gig in New Zealand saw him not only welcome in the New Year before a large majority of the World, but also saw the dance star develop a new passion for the country.
Moby headlined the Rhythm & Vines festival which took place over the New Yea in Gisborne, the most Easterly city in the world.
And he admits he was spellbound by his first visit to the antipodean country, writing online, "I'm in the very beautiful Gisborne, the first city after the dateline to see the new day, which means that it is far, far away from almost anything.
"New Zealand is a remarkable place. If you haven't been, I can only suggest that you figure out a way to give yourself a month to just ride and hike around New Zealand."
