Moby seems to have forgotten that in the music business, it’s probably not a good idea to go around slamming your fellow musicians, after he described it as very provincial.
The singer and producer, who conveniently releases his new album, Wait for Me, on Monday - cue anything to get headlines - has claimed not to have heard anything inspiring coming from the UK recently.
Although, I have to agree with what he told The Sun; "The bands look like they're hanging out at the pub and they sound like they are playing in a pub and the subject matter is very provincial and pub-orientated - laddish."
Because let’s be honest, far too many of these new ‘indie’ kids like to act like they don’ care about their appearance, personalities or even about music… they just want to fit in with the fashionable clique.
But I still can’t help but think Moby might have just been encouraged to say anything to get himself in the news.
