It has already been a super busy year for actor James Badge Dale, and he is an actor who is well and truly on the rise.
He is back on the big screen this week as he is set to appear in The Lone Ranger alongside Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer.
Throughout his careerDale has moved between TV and film, but in 2013 his focus really has been on movies.
He kicked off the year with a brief but rather poignant appearance as a caner sufferer in Flight.
His scene with Denzel Washington and Kelly Reilly in the hospital after the plane crash is one of the most memorable.
He swapped drama for the big budget blockbuster earlier this summer as he took on the role of Savin in Iron Man 3.
Savin was one of the new characters joining the franchise for the third instalment, and was a henchman for Killian - played by Guy Pearce.
Iron Man 3 is the biggest and most successful movie of Dale's career so far, as the film broke $1 billion at the global box office.
It is the biggest grossing movie of the year so far and a movie is really going to have to go some to beat it.
Dale jumped from one blockbuster role to another as he teamed up with Brad Pitt in World War Z.
The movie was a big screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by Max Brooks, and saw Marc Forster back in the director's chair.
Dale may not have had a huge role in the movie but Captain Speke brings a lot of the humour early on in the film.
So far, the movie has grossed over $456 million and is one of the most exciting films to hit the big screen this summer.
As if two blockbuster projects in one summer isn't enough, Dale has made is a hat-trick with The Lone Ranger.
Gore Verbinski is in the director's chair while Armie Hammer takes on the title role, and Johnny Depp the part of Tonto.
Dale is set to take on the role of Dan Reid, the older brother of John; who goes on to become the Lone Ranger.
So, it has already been a busy and successful summer for the actor, but he has even more on the horizon.
He will be back this autumn as he teams up with Zac Efron, Jackie Earle Haley and Paul Giamatti for Parkland, a drama that recounts the events that happened at Dallas' Parkland Hospital on the day President Kennedy was assassinated.
He is currently filming action/comedy Stretch, with Chris Pine and Brooklyn Decker.
James Badge Dale is an actor who is going from strength to strength, so watch out for him over the next twelve months or so.
The Lone Ranger is released 9th August.
