We have been treated to some fantastic trailers this week as we have got a closer look at biopic project, sci-fi films and possible Oscar contenders.
We round up the must see trailers of the last seven days - and boy have we see some good ones this week.
- Nebraska Trailer - released 6th December.
Nebraska is already one of the most talked about movies as it is a project that sees Alexander Payne return to the big screen; this is his first movie since he enjoyed huge success with The Descendants.
The movie premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year where Bruce Dern picked up the Best Actor gong; he is widely tipped to pick up an Oscar nomination for his central role.
Will Forte, June Squibb, Stacy Keach and Bob Odenkirk join Dern on the cast list.
The movie follows a father and son as they make the trip from Montana to Nebraska in order to claim a million dollar prize.
- Snowpiercer French Trailer
Snowpiercer is one of the movies that I have been looking forward to for some time; however there is no still no UK release date.
The movie sees Chris Evans lead an all star cast that includes Tilda Swinton, John Hurt, Jamie Bell, Ed Harris and Octavia Spencer - it really is one of the best ensemble casts.
The movie marks the first English speaking movie of director Joon-ho Bong, and it really does look set to be a cracker.
Set in a future where a failed experiment to stop global warming creates an ice age that kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine.
- Grace of Monaco - released 29th November.
There are some great biopic movies of the horizon over the next few months, but Grace of Monaco promises to be one of the best as Nicole Kidman returns to the big screen.
The Oscar winner takes on the role of Grace Kelly in the Olivier Dahan directed film. He is no stranger to this genre having been behind the fantastic Le Vie En Rose.
The film follows the story of former Hollywood star Grace Kelly's crisis of marriage and identity, during a political dispute between Monaco's Prince Rainier III and France's Charles De Gaulle, and a looming French invasion of Monaco in the early 1960s.
- Enemy Teaser Trailer
Jake Gyllenhaal is set to star in director Denis Villeneuve’s Prisoners next week, but there is also another collaboration between the pair on the horizon.
Enemy is a film that we welcomed warmly at the Toronto International Film Festival and will be hitting the big screen early next year.
Gyllenhaal will play a double role while Melanie Laurent, Sarah Gadon and Isabella Rossellini are all also on the cast list.
The movie follows a man who seeks out his exact look-alike after spotting him in a movie.
Enemy is released 7th February 2014
