Tommy Flanagan is confirmed to star in 'Guardians of the Galaxy Volume Two'.
Flanagan has joined the cast of the superhero film - alongside Kurt Russell, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Pom Klementieff - and is set to play one of the Ravagers, with filming already in place for its May 5, 2017 release.
He took to Twitter to tease his new role, he said: "Can finally tell ye all what I'm up to #GOTG2. (sic)"
The 'Sons of Anarachy' actor will play Yondu Udonta's sidekick (Michael Rooker) - who abducted Peter Quill (Chris Platt) - and is set to cause controversy among the space pirates in the upcoming film.
The sequel to 'Guardians of the Galaxy' will see a return of the original cast Chris Platt, Zoe Saldana, David Bautista, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Glenn Close.
The movie, the fifteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be produced by Kevin Feige at Atlanta Pinewood Studios, whilst James Gunn returns to direct the production.
