The Jungle Book has topped the U.S. box office for the second consecutive week as it easily held off the challenge from The Huntsman: Winter's War.
The Jungle Book took a further $60.8 million over the weekend to secure it's number one spot - grossing three times more than nearest rival The Huntsman.
The movie, which is directed by Jon Favreau, and is a live-action adaptation of the Rudyard Kipling classic, has grossed over $528 million worldwide and is on course to be another huge hit for 2016.
The Huntsman: Winter's War had to settle for second as the prequel to Snow White and the Huntsman opened over the weekend. The movie took just over $20 million, but it was no match for The Jungle Book.
Chris Hemsworth reprises the title role while Charlize Theron, Jessica Chastain, and Emily Blunt are also on the cast list.
Barbershop: The Next Cut was down one place to this week's number two while Zootropolis was up one at number four. Comedy The Boss was down two places this week to round off the top five.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice slipped out of the top five for the first time as the comic book film dropped two places from four to number six.
Criminal and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 were also down, both slipping one to seven and eight.
The top ten was rounded off by two new entries as Compadres and A Hologram for the King - the latter being the latest film for Tom Hanks - opened at nine and ten.
