Disney has released the first piece of concept art from the upcoming live action interpretation of classic The Jungle Book.

This is just one of the two Jungle Book movies that are on the horizon over the next couple of years, and will see Jon Favreau back in the director's chair for the movie.
The movie is based on the story by Rudyard Kipling and will be a movie that is a mix of live action and CGI, and will bring together a terrific cast.
Neel Sethi has been cast in the central role of Mowgli, and will be making his feature film acting debut with the movie.
Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba, Christopher Walken, Ben Kingsley, and Lupita Nyong'o will voice the characters of Baloo, Kaa, Shere Khan, King Louie, Bagheera, and Rakcha.
Filming is currently under way on the movie and will see Favreau back in the director's chair for the first time since Chef. However, he is no stranger to the blockbuster with the likes if Iron Man and Iron Man 2 under his belt.
The movie will follow the well known story of an orphan boy who is raised in the jungle by wolves, a bear and a black panther.
The Jungle Book is released 16th October 2015.
