The lucky actress will star alongside 'The Theory of Everything' actor, Eddie Redmayne for what is set to be one of the must-see movies of 2016.

Warner Bros has given a description of the character, which they said has the "ability to see deep into people and understand them".

They said: "Modesty is a haunted young girl with an inner strength and stillness. She has an ability to see deep into people and understand them."

Speaking about the film - based on her 2001 book of the same title - which the multi-award winning actress has written the screenplay for, J.K. Rowling previously posted to Facebook: "Although it will be set in the worldwide community of witches and wizards where I was so happy for 17 years, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is neither a prequel nor a sequel to the Harry Potter series, but an extension of the wizarding world.

"The laws and customs of the hidden magical society will be familiar to anyone who has read the Harry Potter books or seen the films, but Newt's story will start in New York, 70 years before Harry's gets under way."

The casting call for the role, which requires a girl aged between eight and 12, will take place at London's Excel Centre on Saturday (18.07.15).

The film is set for release in November 2016.
