Patriots Days is set to be one of the early must-see films of 2017 and a brand new teaser poster for the film has been released.

Patriots Days sees Peter Berg in the director's chair as he reunites with actor Mark Wahlberg. The duo will be back with Deepwater Horizon later this year and Patriots Day will be their third film together.
The movie is based on the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and sees Berg team up with Matt Cook, Matt Charman, Paul Tamasy, and Eric Johnson to pen the screenplay.
Wahlberg is set to take on the central role of Sergeant Tommy Saunders, who is on the hunt for those who set off the bombs. He is joined on the cast list by John Goodman, Kevin Bacon, J.K. Simmons, Michelle Monaghan, and Vincent Curatola.
In the aftermath of an unspeakable act of terror, Police Sergeant Tommy Saunders (Wahlberg) joins courageous survivors, first responders, and investigators in a race against the clock to hunt down the bombers before they strike again.
Weaving together the stories of Special Agent Richard Deslauriers (Bacon), Police Commissioner Ed Davis (Goodman), Sergeant Jeffrey Pugliese (Simmons) and nurse Carol Saunders (Monaghan) this visceral and unflinching chronicle captures the suspense of the most sophisticated manhunt in law enforcement history and the strength of the people of Boston.

Patriots Day is released January 2017.
