The Jackass franchise is an iconic and hilarious collection of films showcasing the adventurous team performing dangerous and exciting stunts, from an army training course with live alligators, tattooing on a moving vehicle along a bumpy road, and acting out ridiculous skits to confuse passers by.
The team of Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man, Danger Ehren, Preston Lacy and others have been entertaining us for decades with their wild stunts and hilarious pranks, and it’s about time we got an official fourth instalment.
Jackass Forever, once again directed by Jeff Tremaine, is the next movie in the series of four, not including Jackass .5 films and Bad Grandpa.
Fans are more than excited to see the crazy team on the big screen once again, despite Bam Margera and the late Jackass member Ryan Dunn not being involved in this project.
This movie is set to be the craziest yet, and we can expect a whole load of dangerously funny stunts, ridiculous pranks, and some painful comedy, with the help of newcomers Jasper, Rachel Wolfson, Sean “Poopies” McLnerney, along with Zach Holmes and Eric Manaka.
Jackass Forever celebrates a group of danger-loving friends getting back together as they return for one more go at some wildly absurd and potentially painful displays of comedy. The previous movies definitely challenged what defines comedy, as many members of the cast suffered some pretty serious injuries - of their own accord, however.
From the first look pictures, we can see the crew play around with a bull once again, and it seems that Knoxville has his world turned upside down, literally, as he is flung into the air following an attack by the enraged animal.
Another photo shows who we can presume to be a new cast member in a tank or bath of some kind, with the on looking crew of Steve-O, Knoxville and Wee Man looking both amused and confused as a man sits in the tub for… who knows what reason?
We also see a photo of Knoxville and Steve-O along, with new cast member Wolfson, peering at another new member, McLnerney, who has his face a little too close to what we can only assume to be a very angry snake. Knowing Jackass, we can take an educated guess and say that McLnerney is trying to get bitten by said snake; let’s hope it’s been de-fanged or isn’t venomous.
A fourth first look image shows a member of the crew being fired out of a cannon – our money is on Steve-O – which, if you’ve seen the other films, seems right on-brand for the upcoming movie, and is a classic Jackass stunt.
The trailer for the movie will be released next week (beginning Monday, 19th July 2021), where we can expect to see some examples of the crazy, wacky and hilarious stunts, pranks and skits!
Jackass Forever will be in cinemas October 22nd, 2021!
