Mark Wahlberg's children will cameo in 'Transformers: Age of Extinction'.
The 'Pain & Gain' actor will lead the cast for Michael Bay's fourth alien robot action film and revealed that his four kids - Ella Rae, 10, Michael Robert, seven, Brendan Joseph, four, and three-year-old Grace Margaret - with wife Rhea Durham recently filmed a small scene for the flick.
He told MTV News: "My kids just did a cameo ... just [as] scared people in the street looking up, but they did a great job.
"I was so nervous because Michael doesn't have time for bad performances. You have to understand, you're shooting a $300 million movie, you've got a lot going on. He's got five, six takes. If you ain't got it, you're done. I didn't want to see my kids get clipped. They were excited, but they started to get mad at me because I'm trying to over-direct them. It went great."
The actor was so grateful to Bay for granting his children a role in the film, he even gave the director a hug.
He added: "For him to take the time to set up the specific shot that he actually wants to put in the movie for my kids. I don't like asking for those kinds of things. I was going to send him a text, but I just wanted to wait and thank him in person. I gave him a big hug yesterday."
Wahlberg will be joined by a brand new cast for the new movie, which will include Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci and Sophia Myles.
'Transformers: Age of Extinction' is due for release in 2014.
