The two actors have signed up for the superhero blockbuster in as-yet undisclosed roles, however, The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that Logan will bring a secondary villain to life.
Michael Keaton is portraying main antagonist The Vulture, while Tom Holland is playing Peter Parker and his webslinging alter ego - a role in which he made his debut in 'Captain America: Civil War'.
The cast also includes Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and Michael Barbieri, Tony Revolori, Laura Harrier, Kenneth Choi, Zendaya and Donald Glover - who was also announced to be part of the movie this week.
Jon Watts has been handed directorial duties, while John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein have written the script.
Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are overseeing the film for Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios under both companies deal, in conjunction with Walt Disney Company, to share the rights superhero character.
'Spider-Man: Homecoming' is to focus on Parker's time at high school and the roots of the character.
It is scheduled for a July 2017 release.
