Leslie Mann has replaced Jennifer Aniston in 'The Comedian.'
Mann has stepped in for the former 'Friends' star who has had to quit the movie due to scheduling reasons.
An insider told The Wrap: "They couldn't quite make the dates work and her (Jennifer's) schedule didn't allow her to commit to filming."
Leslie will appear opposite Robert De Niro, who plays a toxic comic who enjoys dishing out offensive insults but is also trying re-balance the priorities in his life.
Her character meets and befriends De Niro's at a wedding and the pair develop a close relationship.
Taylor Hackford is at the helm of the project, which will start shooting early this year in New York, while Art Linson wrote the script with comic Jeffrey Ross.
'The Comedian' producer Courtney Solomon has praised the talents of 'The Other Woman' star Leslie - who is married to 'Trainwreck' director Judd Apatow - and is confident she will be fantastic in the role.
Courtney said: "Leslie Mann's impeccable timing and ability to inject drama into comedy make her the right choice for the film."
Leslie is also set to star in the upcoming rom-com 'How to Be Single' alongside Dakota Johnson and Rebel Wilson, while Jennifer will be seen in 'The Yellow Birds' with Tye Sheridan, Alden Ehrenreich and Jack Huston.
