Twentieth Century Fox has announced that Kung Fu Panda 3 will hit UK cinema screens on 11th March 2016.
It was back in 2008 when we were introduced to the character of Po for the first time and this is the first film in the franchise since Kung Fu Panda 2 back in the summer of 2011.
Jennifer Yuh is back in the director's chair for the first time since the second movie and teams up with Alessandro Carloni this time around. While Carloni hasn't directed a Kung Fu Panda movie before, he is no stranger to the franchise, having worked as a story artist on the first two movies.
Reprising their roles are Jack Black as Po, Dustin Hoffman as Shifu, Angelina Jolie as Tigress, Jackie Chan as Monkey, Seth Rogen as Mantis, Lucy Liu as Viper, David Cross as Crane, and James Hong as Mr. Ping.
There are some great new additions to the cast list this time around as Bryan Cranston, Kate Hudson, and Oscar winner J.K. Simmons are also on board.
When Po's long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible - learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!
