Jurassic World has seen off the competition as it has stormed to the top of the U.S. box office.
Jurassic World, which is the fourth film in the franchise and the first since Jurassic Park III back in 2001, took a whopping $204 million in its opening weekend to easily topple Spy from the top spot and stop all other challengers.
The movie, which is directed by Colin Tervorrow, is set twenty years in the future and sees John Hammond's dream of a dinosaur theme park realised.
Jurassic World enjoyed the second highest opening weekend in the U.S. of all time - second only to Avengers Assemble back in 2012.
Spy slipped just a single place to number two this week but was no match for the might of Jurassic World. San Andreas and Insidious Chapter 3 were also down one place at three and four.
Pitch Perfect 2 was the only movie on the up over the weekend as the Elizabeth Banks directed film jumped a single place from six to number five. Last week, Banks revealed that she was considering returning to the director's chair to helm a third film in the popular comedy series.
Entourage was two places this week as it dropped from four to six, while Mad Max: Fury Road was also a two place faller at number seven.
There was no move for Avengers: Age of Ultron at eight, while Tomorrowland was down two places from seven to number nine.
Love & Mercy was the second and final new entry inside the top ten this week as the John Cusack film opened at number ten.
