The second trailer for the epic conclusion to the Jurassic World movie trilogy has today (April 28th, 2022) been revealed.
Jurassic World Dominion is set to hit cinemas across the UK in June later this year, bringing back the original trio that helped make the first trilogy a huge success.
Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill will share the screen for the first time with their modern-day counterparts, Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt, in what looks to be the most chaotic and action-packed Jurassic big screen offering to-date.
Colin Trevorrow will return as director for Dominion, which takes place four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar. With dinosaurs escaping what was supposed to be a solitary home, they now live - and hunt - alongside humans across the globe.
With the existance of humanity in the balance, the future has been reshaped like never before. Exactly who will be able to survive and come out of it all with their lives remains to be seen. As Goldblum says in the trailer, 'time may be up on the Doomsday Clock'.
Fan-favourite dinos are making a comeback, alongside some never-seen creatures and new visual effects, this looks to be one of those movies that demands to be seen in cinemas to be experienced fully.
New cast members DeWanda Wise, Mamoudou Athie, Dichen Lachman, Scott Haze and Campbell Scott will all star, alongside returning actors BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu, Justice Smith as Franklin Webb, Daniella Pineda as Dr. Zia Rodriguez and, Omar Sy as Barry Sembenè.
I for one cannot wait to see what looks to be a thrilling feature from the minds of director Colin Treverrow, as well as Emily Carmichael who co-wrote the screenplay with Trevorrow, from a story by Derek Connolly.
It's been proven that the team are able to put together a must-see adventure and, if this trailer is anything to go by, this is going to be their most ambitious release ever. With the trilogy reaching its end, there's been no punches pulled; it's all-out action.
Seeing this in IMAX is gonna be a must. Bring on the dinosaurs!
