Judd Apatow is set to return to the director's chair to helm new comedy Train Wreck.
Apatow was originally on board the project as a producer but now he will also direct.
Train Wreck will see Apatow team up with funny woman Amy Schumner, who will also pen the screenplay.
Train Wreck will be backed by Universal and Apatow's Apatow Productions.
Apatow has been behind films such as Knocked Up and The 40 Year Old Virgin, but This Is 40 is the last time that we saw him in the director's chair.
Since then he has been concentrating on producing work with TV series Girls, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues and Can A Song Save Your Life? all under his belt.
As for Amy Schumner, she is best known for her TV work with the likes of Inside Amy Schumner, Delocated and Girls.
Train Wreck would mark the first film scrip from Schumner to go into production, and it would also be the biggest film role of her acting career.
