Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles slipped a single place to two after a fortnight as America's #1 movie.
If I Stay was the highest new entry inside the top ten this week, as it opened at number three.
The movie marks the return of Chloe Grace Moretz to the big screen, in this adaptation of the novel of the same name by Gayle Forman.
Comedy Let's Be Cops was down one at four, while When the Game Stands Tall was new at five.
The Giver was down one at five, while The Expendables 3 was down three at seven.
It has not been a good opening weekend for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, as it could only open at eight.
The movie comes nine years after the release of Sin City, and only took $6.4 million.
The Hundred-Foot Journey was down two at nine, while Into The Storm was down four places to round off the top ten.
