Ben Kingsley has heaped praise on director Jon Favreau as they reunite this week for The Jungle Book.
Kingsley is set to bring the character of Bagheera to life in the live-action adaptation of the Rudyard Kipling classic.
The movie sees Kingsley reunite with Favreau for the first time since the huge success of Iron Man 3 and the Oscar winner has nothing but praise for the filmmaker.
Speaking on the red carpet at the European premiere of the film, Kingsley said: "He is very intelligent, he has a great heart, he is unsentimental, and he is very attentive to his actors and can hear, like a musician, what notes that you are playing."
Kingsley is part of an all-star voice cast as Idris Elba, Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansson, and Christopher Walked are just some of the names that are on board. We are also going to be introduced to the acting talent of Neel Sethi, who takes on the central role of Mowgli.
The Jungle Book kicks off a busy year for Kingsley, who has already completed work on The Ottoman, Lieutenant, An Ordinary Man, and Mary.
The Jungle Book is out now.
