Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen's reign over the UK box office continued as it grossed a further £4.23 million to comfortably retain the number one spot.
The sequel to the 2007 movie has been a huge success, despite Michael Bay wanting to pull the plug after Shia LaBeouf's hand injury, and now tops the box office in the UK, U.S and Australia.
In it's opening weekend in the States the movie grossed in excess of $200 million, just missing out on The Dark Knight's opening record.
There was no change at number two either as comedy The Hanover was the only other movie this week to break through the £1 million barrier.
Despite poor reviews Year One, which stars Jack Black and Michael Cera, was a new entry at number three. There was also a new entry at four with My Sister's Keeper, an adaptation of the Jodi Picoult.
Night at the Museum dropped two places from three to five and there was also s two place drop for Terminator Salvation falling from four to six.
Blood: The Last Vampire was a new entry at seven while New York and Sunshine Cleaning, which sees Amy Adams and Emily Blunt team up, opened at nine and ten respectfully.
