Tom Felton was left starstruck when Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg tracked him down backstage at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night (06Jun10) to apologize for heckling him as he tried to thank his mom onstage.
Wahlberg and Will Ferrell were left swinging from the rafters at the Gibson Ampitheater in Los Angeles - after a comedy skit for their new film The Other Guys - as Felton stepped up to accept his Best Villain prize.
Wahlberg proceeded to insult the nervous Brit as he thanked fans, his girlfriend and his mom.
Felton brushed off the act, insisting the MTV win for his role as Potter bad guy Draco Malfoy was "the most surreal moment of my life", although he later took to his Twitter.com account and admitted he was "a bit stumped by the situation but did my best".
But all was forgotten when Wahlberg approached Felton backstage at the event to apologize for his silly behaviour, telling the young star, "We were only kidding. Sorry about that, great job... Thanks for being a good sport."
And the encounter left 22-year-old Felton in awe of Wahlberg. He exclaims, "I can't believe it. Amazing!"
