Tinker Tailor Solider Spy has topped the UK box office, ending The Inbetweeners Movie's four week reign.
The adaptation of the John Le Carre novel has been a huge hit with the critics - with early talk of Oscar nominations - and it looks set to add box office success to that as British film fans have flocked out to catch the movie.
Gary Oldman leads an all star cast that includes Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Strong and John Hurt.

The movie took £2.8 million in it's opening weekend to topple The Inbetweeners Movie - which fell just a single place to number two.
Comedy Friends With Benefits was also down one place at three while Jane Eyre, which stars Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender, stayed put at four.
The Change-Up, which sees Ryan Reynolds team up with Jason Bateman, was new at number five while The Smurfs dropped two places to six.
I Don't Know How She Does It was a third new entry at number seven. Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes and One Day were this week's biggest fallers as they dropped three places to eight and nine.
30 Minutes or less was the fourth entry inside the top ten this week at ten.
