The Inbetweeners Movie

The Inbetweeners has remained at the top of the UK box office for a second week.

The Inbetweeners Movie broke the record for biggest live action comedy with an extraordinary £20,168,118 in its opening week and has continued its success over the weekend.  The current box office tally is a phenomenal £27,715,177.
 
The top spot was previously held by The Hangover Part II with £17,176,908 followed by Hancock on £13,095,568. 

Other titles in the top ten include Meet The Fockers with £10,893,318 and 2011’s previous title holder Bridesmaids with £5,909,742.

One Day, an adaptation of the David Nicholls novel, was the highest new entry inside the top ten this week as it opened at number two.

After spending the night together on the night of their college graduation Dexter and Em are shown each year on the same date to see where they are in their lives. They are sometimes together, sometimes not, on that day.

Directed by Lone Scherfig the movie brings together an all star cast that includes Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes fell just a single place this week from two to three while The Smurfs hung in at four.

Final Destination 5 was new at number five while Cowboys and Aliens was down three at this week's number six.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 has taken well over $1 billion at the global box office and was down two places this week to seven.

Conan The Barbarian, which sees Jason Momoa take over the title role, was the third and final new entry inside the top ten this week as it opened at eight.

Spy Kids: All the Time in the World fell three to nine while Mr Popper's Penguins fell two to round off the top ten.
