Mark Wahlberg won't perform risky stunts any longer because of his family.
But I hate that, when people try to come off as cool and tough. We all know there's a platform underneath and 20 guys holding onto them.
Although the 40-year-old actor - who has kids Ella, eight, Michael, five, Brendan, three, and two-year-old Grace with his wife Rhea Durham - did many of his own action sequences for new movie 'Contraband', he refuses to do anything too dangerous because he has responsibilities to his family.
He said: "I did what they wanted me to do but I'm not Tom Cruise, hanging off buildings. I wouldn't do that - I have a wife and four kids and three guys who look just like me, so they can do it.
"But I hate that, when people try to come off as cool and tough. We all know there's a platform underneath and 20 guys holding onto them. It's Hollywood. Let's save the hero stuff for the firefighters and the police and the soldiers."
Mark also explained he identified with his 'Contraband' character Chris Farraday - a former smuggler who heads to Panama to score millions of dollars in counterfeit bills in order to protect his brother-in-law from a drug lord - because he would do anything for his family.
He added in an interview with Total Film magazine: "I absolutely identified with this guy and his actions. There isn't anything you wouldn't do to protect or provide for your family. It didn't take a lot to get worked up and into that headspace."
