Mark Wahlberg would only consider returning to his rap roots if he was asked to collaborate with Justin Bieber - because his young daughter is a big fan of the teen star.
The Hollywood actor began his career as a member of his brother Donnie's band New Kids on the Block, but left to create his own group, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.
Wahlberg swapped music for acting in the 1990s and went on to carve out a successful Hollywood career, putting his days as Marky Mark firmly behind him.
But the star admits he would consider returning to music if Bieber asked him to record a collaboration.
He tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "If Justin Bieber asks me, I'll say yes. Only because my daughter loves him."
And while he may have music on his mind he is back on the big screen next month with another comedy The Other Guys, which sees him team up with Will Ferrell.
Boxing movie The Fighter is on the horizon, which sees him worl alongside Christian Bale and Amy Adams.
