Mark Wahlberg has revealed that he enjoyed shooting Derek Jeter in The Other Guys.
The Oscar nominated actor is back on the big screen later this year with comedy The Other Guys, which has already topped the American box office, and his character accidentally shoots the New York Yankees star.
Speaking to Teen Hollywood the actor said: "I was certainly thrilled to do it. I felt bad afterwards because he’s such a nice guy. We are going to screen the movie in Boston.
"I cannot wait. I just became a legend in Boston."
The Other Guys is Wahlberg's first full comedy role and the actor admits that it was a 'dream' to work alongside Will Ferrell, Samuel L.Jackson and Dwayne Johnson.
"I had a lot of fun making this movie. I felt very comfortable working on anything cop-ish or action. But, with all the other stuff, I just wanted to follow their lead.
"I've always wanted to do a comedy and to get an opportunity to work with these guys was a dream come true."
Wahlberg goes back to drama later this year with his next movie The Fighter, in which he takes on the role of boxer Mickey Ward.
The Other Guys is released 2nd September.
