Linda Hamilton

Linda Hamilton has revealed that she was left disappointed  by Terminator Salvation last summer.

Hamilton made her name playing the role as Sarah Connor in the first two movies in the franchise.

However she did not appear in Salvation, the fourth movie in the series, and admitted that she didn't like the CGI created Schwarzenegger.

Speaking to Digital Spy she said:"It was strange. I'm not sure that it was 100% successful, either."

"The film was not nearly as exciting as I thought it should be, which is funny because it had all those elements and good actors.

"You can take everything, throw everything and the kitchen sink in and it still was not a James Cameron film."

Since Hamilton took on the role of Sarah Connor the franchise has branched out into TV and Lena Headly took over the iconic role in The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

"She was very good, very good. I know how difficult it is to step into someone's shoes, or to fill someone's shoes.

"I would never want to be the standard. I guess it's great that I'm the standard, but each one of us has our own special gifts that we can bring to a part. She wasn't trying to be Linda Hamilton, she was trying to play Sarah Connor. Her version if just as valid as mine."
