Gareth Evans is already looking ahead to The Raid 2 and he hints that they will be turning up the drama and the action.
The Raid hit the big screen earlier this year and saw the director team up with actor Iko Uwais once again and was met with huge critical acclaim
But Evans is looking ahead to the sequel and he has hinted at what we can expect from the film.
Speaking to Total Film the director said: "This is the film we wanted to make when we made The Raid. We wanted to avoid another building set-up and take things out on to the streets.
"It covers a couple of years, so it’s very different in terms of pacing, and Iko’s character is going undercover to become an enforcer for the Mob.
"We’re definitely ramping up the action, but we are also ramping up the drama."
The Raid was just the third directorial outing for Evans as he worked with Uwais for the second time - teaming up for Merantau back in 2009.
The Raid is out on DVD & Blu-Ray 24th September.
