Fast Five has broke U.S. box office records this weekend by becoming the highest ever April opener.
The movie sees Vin Diesel and Paul Walker return to the franchise - a decade after they first took on the roles of Dominic Toretto and Brian O'Connor.
Dominic and his crew find themselves on the wrong side of the law once again as they try to switch lanes between a ruthless drug lord and a relentless federal agent.
The movie, which is directed by Justin Lin, took $83.6 million in it's opening weekend to storm to the number one spot.
Rio, last week's number one movie, slipped to two while Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family was also down one at three.
Reese Witherspoon's latest movie Water For Elephants was another movie down one place as it slid to four.
Prom was a new entry at five as it took $5 million in it's opening weekend. Hoodwinked Too! was the third and final new entry inside the top ten this week at six.
Soul Surfer stayed put at seven while horror movie Insidious moved up a single place from nine to eight..
This week's biggest faller was Hop as it dropped five places from four to nine. There was no move for Source Code as it rounded off the top ten.
