Mark Wahlberg has already enjoyed a career that has spanned twenty years and yet he is more in demand than ever before.
In recent years he has tackled a wide range of roles and enjoyed critical and commercial success - not to mention he picked up a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for The Departed.
2013 is set to be an extremely busy year for the actor as he has a whole host of movies hitting the big screen while he also has other projects to begin working on.
He makes his first film outing of the new year this week with Broken City - which sees him team up with Oscar winning actor Russell Crowe.
The movie is directed by Allen Hughes, who is making his solo directorial debut, while Catherine Zeta Jones and Jeffrey Wright are also on the cast list.

He returns to the action/comedy this year as he stars alongside Dwayne Johnson in Pain & Gain - which sees Michael Bay return to the director’s chair.

2 Guns is another film starring Wahlberg that will be hitting the big screen this year as the actor reunites with director Baltasar Kormákur - the pair worked together on Contraband - while he stars alongside Denzel Washington.
Paula Patton, James Marsden and Bill Paxton are all also on a very exciting cast list but Washington and Wahlberg will take centre stage.

He is also set to reprise the role of John Bennett for the Ted 2 sequel.
Broken City is released 1st March.
