And this summer sees the return of Shrek to the big screen for the fourth movie in the franchise.

The motley crew of Mike Meyers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Antonio Banderas all return to the roles of Shrek, Donkey, Fiona and Puss In Boots but things aren't quite what they seem.

After challenging an evil dragon, rescuing a beautiful princess and saving your in-laws’ kingdom, what's an ogre to do?

Well, if you’re Shrek, you suddenly wind up a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, a reluctant Shrek now agrees to autograph pitch forks.

What's happened to this ogre’s roar? Longing for the days when he felt like a real ogre, Shrek is duped into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin.

Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have never met.

Now, it’s up to Shrek to undo all he’s done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love.

Shrek Forever After is released 9th July

It's been two year since the awesome The Dark Knight graced the big screen and finally Christopher Nolan is back in the director's chair.

And with his new project Inception, which brings together a cast of Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy, Marion Cotillard and Michael Caine, the director could just have the strangest movie of the year under his belt.

The movie remains the unknown package of the summer with very little known about the plot, having seen the trailer though it's bound to be weird.

In a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion, a single idea within one's mind can be the most dangerous weapon or the most valuable asset.

Inception is released 16th July

Despite having all those great movies to look out for the end of July brings the must see movie in the form of The A Team.

Yes I know that TV shows have never adapted well onto the big screen but I have a good feeling that this one may just buck the trend.

Liam Neeson has bee a busy boy of late and he is back as he leads the A-Team onto the silver screen.

Directed by Joe Carnahan the movie also stars Bradley Cooper, Sharlto Copley, Jessica Biel and Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson.

A group of Iraq War veterans looks to clear their name with the U.S. military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed.

The A-Team is released 30th July.

Other movies worth keeping an eye out for include The Karate Kid, Predators and Grown Ups.
