Puss In Boots was one of the most loved characters of the Shrek universe - so much so that he now starring in his very own movie.
Antonio Banderas and Selma Hayek graced the red carpet yesterday as Puss In Boots swept into the Cannes as the Dreamworks movie kicked of the 64th festival.
Antonio Banderas is back as the swashbuckling cat while Selma Hayek is a new addition to the cast as love interest Kitty Softpaws.
It has become tradition for a more mainstream/blockbuster movie to kick off the festival and this year is no different as Banderas and Hayek posed in a pair of giant boots overlooking the Mediterranean.
In Puss’ early adventures as he teams with mastermind Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and the street-savvy Kitty (Hayek) to steal the famed Goose that lays the Golden Eggs.
