Summer Is Officially Here! After yesterday's clocks went forward, we're still yawning and mouring that lost hour, we entered British Summer Time so what better time than now to start our spring/summer clothes shopping.
We know it might be hard to recall the big trends from the SS09 catwalks, what with Fashion's love of showing about six months early, but don't worry we're here to remind you of the hot looks for this season.
Pull out your old tutus because Ballerinas are going to be your new style icons this season. Think lots of lace, ribbons and ruffled princess style dresses and buns in your hair are a must. Giambattista Valli, Nina Ricci and John Rocha all used influences of the ballet on their catwalks.
Too hot in trousers but can't face flashing your pins inshorts? Then rejoice as cropped, blousy harem-style trousers were all over the catwalks at Ralph Lauren, Vivienne Westwood Red Label and Marc Jacobs. If you still want to flash the flesh then take inspiration from YSL's transparent version.
Sticking with transparant themes, perspex was a big look on Hussein Chalayan, Louis Vuitton and Loewe's catwalks. If perspex heels are a bit too stripper-like for you go for big statement jewellery in the material.

Schoolgirl style is hot news as well, pleats were everywhere in Fashion Week, pleated skirts, pleated necklines even pleats on trousers, get yours now to stay ahead of the fashion pack.
If you're still wary of new trends, don't worry Summer staples like florals, sheer and Broderie Anglais are still big news for the season. Best get shopping girls!
