Grunge is no longer a look reserved for the homeless and drug addicts but thanks to stars like Mary Kate Olsen and Taylor Momsen it is now a bona fide trend.
Ripped and oversized pieces are now the latest word in style. The key is though to use one grungy piece per outfit, for example team a baggy T-shirt with skinny jeans for a more rock chick look.
No-one worked the style better than Alexander Wang in his SS09 collection. We love the baggy grey jumper dress with it's holey pattern.
Unless you've got a few hundred pounds to spare you might want to head to Miss Selfridge instead for their look-a-like jumper for just £32.
Wear it with skinny jeans, or if it's long enough leggings. Don't forget to add a vest underneath though, black works best, as flashing is not a big trend this year! Add some long chains and a stack of bangles for a real rocky edge.
