Slash holes in your leggings, dig out those safety pins and prepare to clash every print going, as we welcome grunge back the high-street.
Taylor Momsen, Erin Wasson and even the usually squeaky clean Kirsten Dunst have been spotted working this look of late, compete with the obligatory smokey eyes and messy rock chick hair.
The catwalk has also been awash with this look, with Alexander Wang sampling some fab ripped jumper fashion, and cut-out leggings on his catwalk for SS09.
Then we have Effy's entire wardrobe from Skins consisting of this grungy trend. At one point she debuted some very ripped leggings and oversized rock T-shirt to perfection, and that leather jacket she sported for the last episode was a grunge classic.
So, here's how to work the trend without looking like a total homeless person...
Firstly, just because this trend looks messy, doesn't mean that the celebs haven't spent hours putting together this 'just thrown on' look, so plan your outfit carefully.
Next, try and keep the rest of your outfit simple, and let one statement piece do the talking, or you will look like you've just got dressed in the dark.
Finally, you want to go for fabrics which are flattering to your body shape, so opt for dresses and tunics which drape over the body, but avoid sack-like outfits, as these will just swamp you.
Here's some of our fave grunge looks on the high-street at the minute...
