Buzz Aldrin is the star of the latest Louis Vuitton ad campaign.
The astronaut, who was the second man to walk on the moon in 1969, was photographed by Annie Leibovitz for the campaign which marks the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission.
The images also feature space legends Sally Ride and Jim Lovell posing alongside Buzz on a battered old pick up truck.
The Wall Street Journal reveals that the astronauts each donated a "significant" slice of their fee for the shoot to Al Gore's Climate Project.
Neil Armstrong, another legendary astronaut, was also invited to participate in the campaign, which will appear in the July issue of several magazines, but declined the offer.
