Fearne Cotton dyes her hair pink every Christmas.
The blonde presenter - who has 22-month-old son Rex with husband Jesse Wood - admits she is no longer very experimental with her locks but can't resist changing the colour to a shocking hue when she finishes work for the festive season.
She said: "I think I got to 14 and thought, 'Right, I'm going to have a perm'. From that point for 10 years I had black hair, red hair, dodgy fringes, cropped, shaggy hair... I've definitely got less experimental as I've got older. Christmas is the exception when I dye it pink every year.
"I love it. Every year, as soon as I finish Radio 1, my hairdresser comes over, we dye it pink and then it fades out before I go back to work."
However, last year Fearne was left panicked when the colour didn't fade before she returned to work.
She said: "Usually it fades out naturally but last year it would not come out.
"I was calling my hairdresser saying, 'I'm going back to work tomorrow, it's still pink. Help!' "
As well as changing her hair for Christmas, Fearne also gets more experimental with her make-up over the festive season.
She said: "I don't usually wear red lipstick unless it's winter or Christmas and I'll maybe even go for a little bit of glitter on the eye - why not?"
