Rankin is a Scottish born-and-raised fashion photographer
Glasgow born and raised, Rankin is to be added the Scottish Fashion Awards Hall of Fame after his contributions to fashion.
The photographer is mostly known for his famous portraits of everyone from Madonna to The Queen, along side Rankin Live where he did studies of members of the public.
Tessa Hartmann, chairman and founder of the event said: "We are proud to induct such an influential artist into the Hall of Fame.
"The award pays tribute to a creative genius whose contribution to the fashion industry we are forever indebted and Rankin is a worthy honouree for 2011."
