Fashion Forward fund winners announced
London Fashion Week is drawing nearer, and the excitement is building up.
Last night the British Fashion Council announced its winners for the Fashion Forward fund.
Meadham Kirchoff, Peter Pilotto and Todd Lynn were all awarded with the Coutts & co sponsored award.
The Fashion Forward fund is designed to give supports to label's that have now moved past the ones-to-watch stage and have now firmly established themselves on the London Fashion Week schedule.
Edward Meadham and Ben Kirchoff told Elle.com: “It is so important that young talent is appropriately supported in this industry and Fashion Forward gives us the opportunity to further develop our work in a relevant manner.”
Todd Lynn added: “I am thrilled to have won Fashion Forward for 2011. This will be such a great support to me and my brand both in terms of financial sponsorship and building my business through the mentoring scheme.”
Not only will the designers receiving sponsorship for the upcoming February shows, they will also receive it in September.
