Molly Goddard for ASOS has landed
Molly Goddard is the name of everyone's lips this week and it's down to her four-dress capsule collection that's just landed on ASOS.
The former Central Saint Martins student, who graduated just last year, has created pretty, summer dresses that are inspired by the Spice Girls and Barbie.
As a former intern for John Galliano and Meadham Kirchoff, it's easy to see the slight influences they've had in her work. These are designers that are never scared to shy away from the fun and original.
Speaking to ASOS magazine Molly explained that the dresses are fun and glamorous.
"They can be dressed up or down, taken apart and swapped around.
"Each dress has two layers - an embroidered underdress and a bright, sheer outer dress. You can wear them to anything."
The tulle materials and bright colours that appeared in her graduate collection have made up the core of her ASOS range and it's definitely up our street - who doesn't love to play dress up? But this is fashion that is a lot more accessible and wearable.
The designer told Vogue: "The thought of seeing people out and about in my dresses is such an exciting prospect. Working with ASOS has been an incredible learning experience, as it is such an enormous brand and continues to commission innovative projects and produce current fashion. As such a new designer, it's amazing that ASOS have supported me in putting my designs out at a level I never imagined."
We can't wait to see what comes next.
