Amy Winehouse has sent an early Christmas fashion gift to X Factor judge, Louis Walsh.

The troubled star stunned Louis by apparently sending him some shamrock cufflings and a green tie, just before the show went live on Saturday.

Her thoughtful gift arrived from Selfridges to thank Louis for looking after her goddaughter, who had previously visited the ITV studios.

Amy's connection with the X Factor also extends to apparently ringing 16-year-old contestant Eoghan Quigg, and telling him that he's her favourite act on the show.

Imagine if the Wino was booked to be a guest mentor one week... now that would be car crash TV.
