Olivia Wilde wears Ann Taylor to the CFDA Awards
There was a standout fashion trend that took to the red carpet in New York city last night, as the fashion world descended for the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards.
Fringe details were certainly favoured on the evening, as three of our favourite stylish celebs worked the trend to full effect.
Olivia Wilde, Jaime King and Olivia Palermo all put on a stylish front wearing the fringe.
Olivia Wilde showcased her amazing post-baby body wearing a black one-shouldered gown which fitted her body perfectly and had a black fringe overlay all over.
Glossy waves, her signature cat eye and simple black sandals all accessorized the look and she added a little more detail via her black and gold embellished clutch.
Jaime King chose a white Calvin Klein number for the fashionable evening, which featured fringe tiers and sheer panels. White sandals and a sleek updo completed the look; we just think a red lip would have elevated this look completely. There are some images of her wearing a pair of round sunglasses on the red carpet, but thankfully she did take them off – we have no idea why there were needed.
We know that Olivia Palermo likes to accessorise and even though she was wearing a fringed top and skirt from Ann Taylor that didn’t stop her, she added a mix of gold cuff bracelets, gold drop earrings, a gold choker necklace, Lulu Guinness lips clutch and black feathered strap heels. Somehow it works despite there being a lot going on.
