She may only be 15, but Taylor Momsen is fast morphing into a little style starlet, and now she's been pictured sporting a much-lusted after new hair-do.
A modern take on 'the shag' is the best way we can describe it, as Taylor carries off a full fringe and tousled locks to perfection, both on set and off.
While over here in the UK, we've only just seen Taylor's on-screen transformation as Gossip Girl's Jenny, The U.S. fashion pack are already wise to Taylor's radical make-over.
We hated her look on the show last week, as to put it bluntly, it looked like an unattractive mullet sitting on her head, but have been assured her style gets better in upcoming episodes.
That does sound pretty plausible considering we've spotted pictures of Taylor filming with her new 'do', and we have to say we're very impressed with the results, and so to is everyone else, from what we've heard.
'The Jenny' as it has been dubbed by some of the media, is already a cult-classic in the States, and apparently is being likened to the modern version of 'The Rachel' in terms of popularity.
We think it's modern and cool certainly, but can it really compete with 'The Rachel'? Our skepticism tells us no, but at the same time Taylor seems to really know what she wants and isn't afraid to try new things.
Her bravery is great and that's why we think it has become as popular as it has in the U.S., but we're not convinced it will create that much of a storm over here, just yet.
That said, credit where credit is due, as she's already one of the first to sample the catwalk look of 'partially wet' tousled hair and rock it to perfection. We officially have a new hair crush...
