Gossip Girl's Favourite Fashionable Couple Blair and Chuck
Gossip Girl is set to return to the UK for a second series later this month, and we've taken a fashion sneak peak into the wardrobe of its stars; Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen.
The first series took the US and UK by storm, and from what we've heard the second is even better! We can expect plenty of amazing fashion moments from our favourite trio, while our resident bad boy, Chuck Bass will go even more extreme with his fashion too so we hear.
Serena's style in the first season was very laid back, as it reflected her character wanting to get away from the Upper East side world. However, now she's split with Dan, the return of Queen S is almost inevitable and with that comes a more fierce sense of style.
Expect plenty of short skirts, tight dresses and low cut tops as subtle Serena takes a vacation and a vicious replacement takes her place.
Her best friend Blair is the opposite to Serena in many ways; up tight and constantly trying to wear the right thing to the right social situation. That said, Blair's style is second to none; she does preppy-cool like no other, and set so many trends last year we don't know where to start.
Her bow headbands, coloured tights, lace dresses and couture gowns all made the show, and this season her style gets even more fabulously chic.
Lil J, other wise known as Jenny Humphrey was last seen trying to fit in with the popular crowd and bringing down Queen B. Despite not having the money to copy their designer gear, Jenny was most famous for her coloured tights and quirky headwear throughout the series.
This year however, Jenny grows up a lot and lets just say she's one to watch fashion wise in the upcoming season.
While we know Chuck isn't in our fashionable trio, he deserves a mention because he truly out-gays himself in this series, despite being a womanising jerk!
Seriously, cravats, orange suits, trilby hats and a smoking jacket all make an appearance in this year, while his trademark scarf and duffle coat seem to take a back seat compared to season 1.

Serena (Blake Lively)
We love Serena's look here, as she visits Yale in season 2. Her skinny jeans and boots combo are smart yet stylish and her nautical blazer is bang on trend too.
The second shot is from an upcoming Thanksgiving episode, and again she works one of the hottest style combinations of next year; red and orange. She does however break the style rules by wearing a low cut and short dress together, but who cares? She's Serena Van Der Woodsen, for heavens sake!
Blair (Leighton Meester)
Blair as always has her preppy style down to a tee and this season, if possible she outshines her first season's fashion. Her summer florals that she sports for the first episode are spot on and bright to reflect the sunny Hamptons. She also works a gorgeous green floral dress when she's arguing with chuck, while he matches her in a mint green tuxedo, and remarkably he pulls it off perfectly!
Our second shot shows Queen B celebrating her 18th birthday in a stunning ruffled backless dress, which not many could get away with but she pulls it off fabulously.
Jenny (Taylor Momsen)
Jenny goes on the most style changes this season, which will reflect her character becoming a little bit more dark..duh duh duh! Here you can see her in a later episode in season 2, just before she heads out to a club. We're loving the top hat and checked shirt combo, rocking the dark romance trend, which has been so big this year.
Her second picture is taken before a major fashion event, so suitably she's wearing a gorgeous little sequined fascinator and a H&M dress, teamed with wet-look leggings. Love it!
