Tulisa was voted worst hair because of her extensions and questionable hair colours
Tulisa has been been voted worst hair of 2013 in a new survey and with dodgy extensions and bad hair colour choices it's no wonder really.
Almost one third of women questioned by online hair care retailer Fabriah.com said the former X Factor judge had the worst celebrity hair.
The N-Dubz star is well known across the media for her disastrous hair styles and questionable outfit choices.
One respondent commented: “I think Tulisa is definitely the celebrity with the worst hair, no matter what style or colour it is it just never seems to look good.
"It’s surprising because she’s a celebrity in the public eye so having nice hair is almost expected, I think it’s time she sacked the stylist."
In second place came American actress Amanda Bynes, famous for her controversial Twitter antics and particularly bad hair.
One in five of those asked, 20%, chose her new untidy blonde wig, which she seems proud to be sporting, as the worst hairstyle this year.
Her weave mishaps and ever changing hairstyles saw Waterloo Road actress Chelsee Healey come in third place, with 14% of respondents choosing her hair as the worst.
Comedian and TV personality Russell Brand and his infamous birds nest hairstyle picked up nine per cent of votes.
Glamour model Katie Price and Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan, both well known for their dodgy hair extensions, came joint in sixth place with each receiving six per cent of the vote.
TOWIE star Joey Essex may have inspired younger boys with his curly mop, but his perm styled haircut didn’t impress in the poll, with five per cent of women putting him at the top spot for the worst celebrity hair.
Reality TV star Rosie Fortescue from hit show Made in Chelsea was next, with four per cent of women agreeing her flat lifeless locks were particularly tragic.
Last but not least came Naomi Campbell in ninth place receiving three per cent of the vote and Britney Spears with just one per cent.
Another one commented saying: “I think Russell Brand has the worst hair, he’s had it in the same way for years and it just looks awful.
"I don’t know how he tames it because it doesn’t look like you could even get a brush through that nest."
A final respondent said: "In my opinion Joey Essex has horrible hair, he tries so hard with it as well which almost makes matters worse because it doesn’t look any good.
"I see so many young boys trying to replicate his hair style and I just wonder why anyone would want their hair to look that silly."
Francesca Davies, a spokesperson for www.Fabriah.com said: “A lot of celebrities do go through stages of having very bad hair styles often because they are changed so much.
“Many of the celebrities voted in the top ten have had quite drastic hair changes, sometimes it’s better to play it safe and stick to something a little more standard.”
