The Moschino Cheap & Chic look

The Moschino Cheap & Chic look

Rebellious yet feminine, the hair look was an un-done, up-do that experimented with raw texture and shape at the Moschino Cheap & Chic show shown during London Fashion Week.

The Look: Punk Couture

The hair look at the AW13 Moschino Cheap and Chic show was youthful and fun with a wild streak of punk attitude.

Sam McKnight, Global Ambassador for Pantene Pro-V was inspired by the collection which featured studs, florescent pink and the archetypal Moschino Cheap and Chic script print.

“I wanted to create a look that was anti-smooth, unconventional and dishevelled,” says Sam McKnight.

“Texture is key and to achieve this I left the hair un-brushed and then created a twisted bun at the back of the head. The finished look is soft punk couture with a feminine edge.”

Get the look:

-          Start with freshly washed and conditioned hair, using Pantene Pro-V Volume and Body Shampoo and Conditioner

-          Dispense a palm sized amount of Pantene Pro-V Deep Moisture Souffle into your hand and using your fingers, lightly apply the Souffle to the ends of the hair for a rich, nourishing treatment that won’t weigh the hair down

-          Apply Pantene Pro-V Volume and Body Mousse and roughly dry the hair. Don’t use a brush to separate the mousse and don’t brush whilst drying the hair. Instead, tousle and ruffle the hair with your fingers as you blow dry

-          If needed, add another layer of mousse to create extra texture and roughly blow dry again

-          Roughly pull the hair back, away from the face and gather into a ponytail, tying with a black elastic

-          Twist the ponytail into a rough bun shape and secure with pins, adding a little more Deep Moisture Soufflé to the ends of the hair

-          Tease the hair at the top and sides of the head to create a furrowed, un-done texture and spray with Pantene Pro-V Classic Care Hairspray to keep the style in place
