Short hair styles
If your hair is short, keep an eye out for some simple but elegant accessories that you can use to add some glamour and interest to your style – there are some great headbands available that can quickly transform your look from day to night. Gently back brush from the roots around the crown of your head to give volume behind the headband and height to your style.
Mid-length hair styles
If your hair is shoulder length – enough to gather into a ponytail, a chignon is simple enough to do at your desk and can look really chic and effective. Pull your hair into a ponytail two inches above the nape of your neck but don’t secure. Twist the pony as though you are making a bun but pull upwards as you go to make the roll. When all of the pony is twisted, use hair pins to secure the roll to your head and tuck any loose ends at the top, back into the roll. Practise at home first to master the technique.
