When a bad hair day strikes you feel frustrated and angry – what can you do to control it?
New research, from Remington, shows that more than three in five female Brits admitting to suffering from a bad hair day at least once a week.
Although British women are more critical of their hair (with a tenth convinced that every day is a bad hair day) British men are – perhaps surprisingly – similarly in tune with their stray strands as 41% also admit to having a bad hair day at least once a week.
It appears that the Great British public are struggling to keep up with the likes of hair idols Kate Middleton and David Beckham and their perfectly preened styles.
Perhaps in an attempt to avoid any further getting ready faux pas, British women spend an average of £18.52 per month on their beauty regime. At only £2.12 less per month - the price of a budget shampoo - British men virtually match their female counterparts in monthly spend on their grooming regimes, displaying the closing gap between the sexes in the style and beauty stakes once again.
But if you’re wanting to forgo the dreaded bad hair day we have some expert advice on what to do.
Chris Appleton, Remington’s Session Stylist said: “It’s surprising that so many Brits suffer from bad hair days on such a regular basis. Whether it is down to the unpredictable weather, lack of time or confidence, a whole host of factors can have an impact on having a good day hair.
