Fearne Cotton always looks stylish
You’re known for having flawless skin. What are the beauty products you just couldn’t live without?
I love my lip crayon collection for Boots this year- they even have a handy sharpener! I also love a chunky black eyeliner, which I wear everyday without fail.
As a busy working mum, do you have any quick but brilliant beauty regime tips?
A really good, quick tip when you don’t have much time is to accentuate one or two features only. I like to whack on loads of mascara and add a bright red or pink lip colour.
Can you tell us why you wanted to work with Boots and Children in Need and give Pudsey a makeover?
I love creating my makeup ranges for Boots. It's such a wonderful dreamy process. I was thrilled to give Pudsey a Fearne makeover to mark what I’m sure will be the charity's most successful year to date. When designing the new Pudsey I just wanted something fun, bright, and simple.
You’ve done some great collections with Boots in the past, and these designs are no exception – where did you get your inspiration?
I was sketching for some of my latest collections when this cute pattern of hearts came to me and I thought it would be perfect for this cause. For me, it signifies the love and dedication from BBC Children in Need to every child in the UK. I hope my Pudsey Bear and Bear Ears find lots of lovely new homes and help to raise money for this fantastic charity.
How have you found being part of Children in Need now that you’re a mum yourself?
This year, it will definitely take on even greater meaning now I'm a mum. Some of the stories are heart breaking but inspiring. I’m privileged to be able to support this charity that does amazing work for disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK.
We hear there is a star-studded line up this year, can you give us a sneak peak of what to expect on the night?
It's always the most fun and spontaneous night. Because it's live and such a long show anything can happen at any point so you have to keep on your toes. I’m very excited to see some incredible artists are giving their time for a special Charity that is close to my heart! It's going to be a wonderful night full of surprises!
