Get Rid of Frizz!

Get Rid of Frizz!

It’s summer, so that means holidays, sun, water fun and unfortunately frizzy hair. To rid the frizz you’ll need a good soothing balm and we’ve tried and tested so that you don’t have to.

Neal & Wolf Silk Smoothing Blow Dry Balm

The first thing I noticed about this product was the amazing smell, as soon as I popped the bottle the sweet smell flew up my nose and I would probably buy it just for that. Thankfully, it worked very well, you apply it through damp hair and it instantly detangled my long locks. It’s not at all greasy and very lightweight in your hair. Once dried, I definitely noticed my hair was a lot more tamed than it usually is, the only thing I would say is that I would have liked the product to give a little more shine. Apart from that, a brilliant product with a reasonable price at £9.50 for a 200ml bottle.

TIGI Bed Head Control Freak

This was a little disappointing for me, although the smell was delightful, the results lacked a little. It did give shine but it didn’t tame my frizz brilliantly and it left the parts of my hair that don’t frizz a little greasy. It did have a nice feel to it though, not sticky and it wasn’t too think or gloopy. Available for £6.50.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Original Hair Serum

This, for me, was certainly the best. It gave amazingly results from the first use and made my hair look and feel like it was done at the salon. The shine was incredible and it made my hair super straight and completely eradicated my frizz. I don’t know how they’ve done it but I think John Frieda may have made the best anti-frizz serum ever. You can have salon ready hair too for just £6.29.

Well it was a close one but I think John Frieda just won it. To be honest though, I would recommend both the John Frieda and Neal & Wolf products, the only thing that won it for John Frieda was the incredible shine that it gave. Both gave brilliantly smooth hair and I would definitely use them again.
